Poor Ribby!

Ribby use to come by our box during every game to say Hi! This season he has skipped us a few times! I think I know why... Every time he comes in he gets attacked by babies! Whoever is inside that Hog outfit must be a patient person! We love you Ribby!

Our Week

The babes. Trying to break free..
Monday we woke up early and went to the library for baby bookworms. We brought the wagon along this time! My gosh they look like they are about to start kindergarten!
I've got to get these kids out of the house more! They love to watch people!
Ava wore her new jellies for her morning at the library!
Knox probably loves baby bookworms most. This kid loves to sing and dance!
How funny is this picture? I guess Ava just wasn't feeling it! She actually missed half of the class because she had to have a diaper change. Surprisingly I don't carry a diaper bag anywhere I go. Sometimes I will throw a diaper in my purse just in case but that's it. I think it has something to do with having so many babies to carry I just don't want anything else! As soon as we got home Gigi made me a diaper bag! Now I will have snacks, sippy's, diapers, wipes, etc. at all times! Thanks Gigi!
The tasty bells. The best part of baby bookworms, at least to my kids.
Knox immediately took off and headed to the front of the room. Like always Brooks and Ava stayed closer to their mommy!
Then he got distracted by a little girl. He wouldn't leave her alone. I hope this isn't a glimpse into his future.
We were bell hoarders.. I'm not sure how my kids ended up with so many.
After bookworms we went to eat lunch at Hammontree's and B met us! Ava had her first pickle and she LOVED it! She ate half of it and probably would have eaten more but I was afraid she would choke!
Later on this week Miller and his mommy and daddy came over for dinner! Allison made the babies birthday invites so she brought them over so we could put them together! Oh they are so cute! I can't wait to post a picture!

These two boys are hilarious together. As soon as they see each other they immediately start squealing and laughing. It's hilarious! Where ever one goes the other follows.
Allison and I got to be official taste testers. B always brings home random stuff for me to try. This one is actually really good. It is Bud Light Beer-a-rita. It's not out yet and I'm not sure what the official name is but it is yummy so be on the look out! Oh and buy it at Wedington or City Liquor of course!
Sweeties!
I ran around like a crazy person for the rest of the week. I had a girls weekend and B's birthday to get ready for! It's hard work leaving town! ha

The first family bike ride.

Our first family bike ride was a complete disaster! It was so bad that Caroline looked at me and said, "At least this will make a good blog post!" Brandon was so hyped up about this day. He was finally getting to use the bike trailer..

This all went down last Sunday. B started his day with a 25 mile ride down 71 on his new bike. That probably wasn't the best idea. He came home and spent about 2 hours loading 4 bikes, two bike trailers, a million helmets, sippy cups, water bottles, fitting the babies' new helmets, etc. Oh and he had to air up all of the tires and make sure the bikes were ready. It was hot and did not look like a fun job! To say he was tired and cranky would be an understatement...We finally arrived at the entrance to the trail and unloaded everything. That's when we realized we were missing two baby helmets. B had to go back to the house to get the helmets. By the time he got back 20 minutes later the babies were hot and mad about being strapped in the trailers. They were going absolutely crazy! Screaming their heads off. Then we tried to strap on the helmets that they hate and it got even worse. We thought maybe they would calm down once we started riding. Not the case. We literally rode 30 feet and turned around and came back to the truck. We loaded up all of the gear and headed home... It could not have gone any worse! ha

Hopefully the next time we try we will have a better experience!

The gear...
Notice we are still smiling in this picture. At this point we hadn't realized the helmets were MIA and the babies were still smiling!

The beginning of the end...
Knox in the helmet he hated. I think we should have pulled out his old white helmet instead! I will say I feel so sorry for kids that have to wear those helmets in the summer months. I can't even imagine!

Happy St. Patty's Day!

On St. Patty's day we headed to the baseball field to cheer on the Hog's with our friends! We left our red at home and wore green instead to celebrate!

Is this kid 12?
He is the funniest little guy. So many people say, "Oh he is so serious!" and then he will flash them his little grin!
Em and Miller!
Allison and Knoxie!
Sarah and her little man Bennett!
Serious face is back!
Brooks was loving the camera this day I guess! I have a million pictures of him! I think Knox and Ava were just too busy playing to stop for a picture!

We closed the doors and the babies took over! They ate, drank, and played!
Ava!

My kids have never had a juice box. They were obsessed with Miller's! Poor guy! I think Brooks almost tackled him to get his hands on it!
Knox was not happy about being left out of the juice box fun! ha
Group pictures are always fun with five babies!

I don't think it gets much cuter than these five guys!

Our weekend

I've really got to get better about blogging when this stuff happens because this weekend was actually 2 weeks ago and I'm having a hard time even remembering what we did! I'm sure B worked Friday night and I hung around the house and then Saturday he watched the babies so I could go to a baby shower. We can't wait to meet baby Madeline! Saturday afternoon my mom and I took the babies to have their pictures made with live bunnies... That experience deserves it's own post though! After the pictures we decided to do a little swimming! I guess it isn't swimming if there is no water though. It was pretty warm outside but the water was freezing so the babies just played in the blow up pool!

Oh and Ava ate lots of grass and leaves..
Knoxie road on his dad's shoulders. All five of us were sitting in the tiny plastic pool fully clothed with no water. I bet our neighbors thought we were a bunch of weirdos! ha
No one told me that swim diapers don't work like a regular diaper. Brooks was sitting in a puddle in our house and we couldn't figure out what spilled.. Nothing spilled. He pee peed... I was covered, he was covered, and my floor. What a mess! I don't think I like swim diapers.

B swimming!
This little boy loves to flip!
I can't really remember what we did Sunday either.. If I had to guess B rode his bike or went running and I did lots of laundry and Gigi cooked dinner for us! That's usually our typical Sunday!

Actually I do know Mad Men started! Another show I'm obsessed with! Don Draper needs to get his act together! I'm ready for Betty to return too! If you don't watch you don't know what I'm talking about but Betty is played by January Jones. When I lived in LA we were out one night and Lauren and January Jones had a little dance off! It was one of the funniest things I have ever seen! I think her boyfriend at the time had a little crush on Lauren! Oh and Lauren definitely won the dance off!
