Randoms

Ava likes to wear buckets on her head.  She thinks it's the funniest thing ever!  I really think she likes doing anything that will get her a laugh!  Future comedian?

Ava pretends she can't walk but she can operate her four wheeler like a pro.  Instead of walking she drives this thing all over our house.  If she gets it stuck she knows how to get off, move it, get back on and keep going.  I think it's her way of keeping up with the boys.  It's pretty cute to see her on it actually!

Oh and she uses it like a ladder to get into things she shouldn't..

I'm sad to see summer end but I'm so excited about cooler weather and football/tailgating! I've already started buying supplies!  The blue tent will be back in the pit this year!  There might be two miniature football players and a cheerleader running around too!

I might have finally kicked my diet coke habit and I have this drink to thank.  It's so good.  The other flavors aren't great but the coconut kind of taste like you're drinking a pina colada.  Not really but maybe if you use your imagination.

Poor thing is OCD like his mommy.  In this picture he was cleaning the trampoline.  He cleans constantly.  He doesn't like anything on the floor.  Especially shoes!  He is always bringing me things and saying, "Thank you." I think he might be my biggest helper one day!

I'm obsessed with these two little girls on Ellen that sing Niki Minaj songs (I know they are old news but I just discovered them).  I want a little British kid that can rap!

Random Cell Phone Pics

I told myself I was going to start using my big camera more but it just hasn't happened yet! So... here are a few grainy cell phone shots that show what we have been doing lately!

Our friends came over to swim a few weeks ago and we had so much fun!  The babies all lasted in the big pool about 7 minutes and then they were done! The rest of the time they just ran around and ate pizza and Popsicle's!  It was a fun day!

Mr Serious!

Three buddies just hanging out talking!

Going for a spin around the farm on the tractor.

Modeling her new dress Grandma Jenny made her!

Walker and John came to visit!  Ava loves Walker!  All my kids love older kids really!  They brought the babies a new yellow hairbrush!  It is always in some one's hands!  Come back and visit soon guys!

Greek snuggle!

We were loading everyone in the car and found Ava sitting in the bike trailer.  Poor girl was ready for a ride!  She didn't want to get out!  I'm so ready for cooler weather so they can start going again with B and I can get a little break in the evenings! ha

Ava thinks it's hilarious to eat like Coco and Layla.  On this particular morning she dumped her milk out (She has learned how to press the spout of her sippy on her tray until a little bit leaks out at a time... Smart Cookie) and she was slurping it up like a kitty.  I'm sure her teachers will love that at school..

Taking her baby for a spin.  The baby actually got stolen by one of the boys but she didn't notice.  Usually Ava plays with the tractors and boy toys so I was excited to see her playing with her toys for a change!

Random, but worth documenting.

-Jennifer is long gone.  And now Brittany is long gone! Oh and Carol is about to be long gone too.

I'm not sure if I even mentioned it here but Jennifer got a real job (not that taking care of three one year olds isn't real) at the beginning of the summer.  We miss her so much! We are all secretly hoping she will miss us so much that she quits and comes back.  Our fingers are crossed.

Approximately two minutes after I got the call from Jennifer that she would be leaving I hired Brittany. Those two minutes in between were very stressful.  I had never met Brittany but hired her anyway!  The thought of being babysitterless terrified me! I did a little facebook stalking and she seemed perfect! The babies love Brittany too!  She is such a big help to me!  I think the first day she worked for me she helped me clean out closets and the garage while the babies were napping.  She also apparently likes to clean and do laundry which is right up my alley! But.... Brittany is a youngster and still in school so she had to leave us on Friday for rush and nursing school.  We're sad.  The laundry is already piling up..

Caroline is moving back to Little Rock to do a teaching internship.  They wouldn't let her do it in Fayetteville.  I know she will be back on weekends but it's just not the same!  She has been my workout partner and my back up baby sitter!  She was about to be promoted to full time babysitter too!

We have been so lucky so far with babysitters.  I have some how managed to find two people that I like and that love my kids.  I'm sure someone else will come along but until then it's going to be a little rough!  Thank goodness I signed the babies up for mothers day out last year!  They start in two weeks.  It's only two morning a week for four hours.  That's not a lot of help but it's something!  Although, I have a feeling I'm going to be exhausted just from getting them there by 8am!  We like to sleep in at our house!

-B tore his hamstring and thought he was dying.  He was at a softball game and I guess was running the bases when it happened.  He said he heard a pop and then felt the worst pain he has ever felt in his life and hit the ground.  What's funny about this is that before the game we had been at a birthday party at La Hacienda.  A friend and I were laughing about how our husbands are too old to be playing softball because they always come home with injuries!  As B was sipping his margarita he was telling me that , "No, he wasn't too old, etc"  I got a phone call from my mom at about 9pm that night.  She was like,  "Brandon's had an accident." Of course I immediately thought car accident.  Then she said he had torn his hamstring and couldn't walk.  He claims he called my mom first because he knew I wouldn't take him seriously!  He was probably right.  Caroline had to go pick him up at the softball field because he couldn't even drive his truck or get in it.  She brought him home and made a Walgreen's run for him and I put him to bed.  He was out of commission for a week.  Taking care of three babies is hard enough with two people but taking care of three babies and an injured husband by yourself is really hard work! I now know I could definitely never be a nurse!  B is pretty much back to normal now thank goodness but he has benched himself for the remainder of the season! Hopefully the next few seasons!

-Coco was debarked.  We had her vocal cords cut.  It was either that or I was going to strangle her the next time she woke up the babies.  We went with the more humane option.  It was wonderful for a few days but I kind of think they are growing back....

Go Team Go!

These pictures are so old!  There is even a chance I have already posted them.  I can't remember!  I think these were probably taken around April or May!

This was the first time the whole family rolled out to watch one of B's softball games!  The babies got to wear their Wedington Liquor ball boy/girl shirts and their cute Nike shorts the Wood's gave them!

This girly girl loved being at the game but she made sure she had a brush to keep her hair in check!

She cheered so hard for the team!
She looked so cute doing it that I took one million pictures! ha

The star player stopped by to say hi to his fans.  (Knox must have been a little sleepy at this point).

Checking out the boys in the dugout!

My cute little bat boy!

Knox finally came alive and decided he was ready to cheer!

My little #3 was all over the place!

Good luck high fives through the fence!

He wanted in on the action so bad!

One going on sixteen!

Gigi the "team owner" stopped by to cheer on the team too!

B's out for the season after a little injury but we are already excited about going to watch next spring! Maybe they will bring home a trophy soon!

Friends

Noah came to play a few weeks ago!  Of course Noah looks cute in his swim suit and my kids are naked!  I've got to work on keeping them clothed!

We had our own little splash pad in the back yard thanks to B's new sprinkler!

Ava!

The guys hanging out, talking about football.

Gigi surprised them and brought over Chick fil A for lunch! Yummy!  Notice my skinny mini child in the background running away from the food!  Knoxie helped him out and cleaned Brooks' plate for him!

Ava loves Chick fil A and strawberries! She even got french fries and Polynesian sauce!  Usually they get the apple sauce!
We had a fun day in the sun!

Go Team USA!

We had a special surprise last Friday night!  The Penix's stopped by to bring the babies Gold Medal cookies and a torch to celebrate the opening ceremonies!

Ava was so excited to see them!  She loved getting to peak at baby Graham!  He is such a cutie and I can't believe how much he has grown since I saw him last!

Knox carried his torch proudly (and upside down)!

How cute are these?  Leslie is very creative and a great cook!  The cookies were so yummy!  I wouldn't let Brandon mess up the medals and eat them but he snuck and took the cookies out and rewrapped them!

Since A's daddy was at work she borrowed Ben's lap!  Madeline was nice enough to share!

Oh and she started walking to Leslie!  I'm not sure what it was...Madeline walking around her... the medal around her neck... maybe she likes Leslie more than me...who knows!  But she felt very confident and she was so proud of herself!  We were proud of her too!

PS-As soon as they left she was back to crawling!  Leslie and Madeline come back! ha

"Smile for the camera Knox!"

Want to eat him up!

Showing off her skills! The medal didn't come off all night!  She was not happy when I finally took it off to put her in bed! ha Maybe a future Olympian?  A professional trampolinest? Is that a word? ha
Thanks for visiting us guys and bringing us cookies!  Go team USA and Ryan Lochte! ha
