I get to wake up to this sweet face every morning! I'm a lucky mommy! I hope they are always so happy in the mornings!

We had a little fashion shoot! Brooks gets to try on lots of clothes because he is the biggest. Lucky boy! ha I know if it fits him it will fit is brother!

Later we met Sarah and Bennett at the park. My kids attacked Sarah. Sorry Sarah!
Brooks spent a lot of time trying to figure out how the music was coming out of the iphone!
Later we all loaded up in the wagon and met daddy for Wino Wednesday at Marks. Mark lives in the historical district and has people over for wine and appetizers in his front yard during the spring/summer. It's so much fun!

Friday night my friends and I went to dinner and to NWAFW. It was such a fun night.

After the fashion show we went back to Vetro for cake, champagne and to rehash the night. We closed the place down. They actually flashed the lights at us! Emily said we should end every night out with gossip, champagne, and birthday cake! I completely agree!

From the back it was a disaster. Sarah gave it a little face lift...I'm not sure it helped much. Even though it looked like a mess it was so good!
It was the perfect way to celebrate my birthday! Thanks for helping me celebrate friends!

Important dates I don't want to forget!

February 17th-Guess who finally has a tooth??? Knox! I still can't believe it! I thought he would have a gummy smile forever!

February 21st-Knox got his second tooth! He now has two bottom teeth!

February 28th-Brooks walked behind a toy! My dad was visiting that morning and he was watching Brooks while I was changing a diaper or something like that. They were in the dining room and he said, "Brooks is walking!" Umm what?? Sure enough I looked and he was walking behind Ava's walker. He would take three steps forward, a few steps back. He eventually make it around the dining room table! I'm so proud of him! What a big boy!

March 2nd-Ava's fifth tooth came in! She now has three on the bottom and two on top! She is the cutest smile and the biggest gap between her two front teeth. We think Ava and Brooks have Brandon's mouth. Poor kids! He wore braces twice and had some seriously messed up teeth!

March 3rd-Quit reading now if you get grossed out easily! This day was just the day for gross things to happen! It started with Ava playing in the toilet. I found her standing over it going to town in the water! She was soaking wet. So gross. Then that night my mom was babysitting and Knox pooped in the tub. I had to laugh when she was telling me this because bathing the babies is pretty hectic anyway especially when you are doing it by yourself. She was holding Ava and Knox was in the tub. He pooped and started trying to pick it up! I think she was afraid he was going to put it in his mouth (like he does everything else). I can just picture Gigi screaming and Knox laughing! Such a stinker! I had to sterilize the tub and every single toy! Thanks Knoxie! I think that bathroom might smell like bleach for days!

March 8th-Ava started clapping and shaking her head no!

March 15th-Brooks got his 5th tooth! Yeah Brooks! Knox, you have a lot of catching up to do!

I couldn't have asked for a better birthday! I snuggled with my babies, went to lunch with friends, gossiped and ate petit fours, got a massage, spent the rainy evening in my pj's, my mom cooked one of my favorite meals, and I opened presents and had cake. It doesn't get much better than that! Oh and every five minutes my phone dinged with another facebook birthday wish. Birthdays must have been so boring before facebook! I felt the love and completely forgot I was one year closer to thirty!

I can't tell you how hard I laughed at this gift! The babies gave it to me (Gigi helped them a little). Something about seeing B's little head cut into a heart shape cracked me up!

Birthday Celebration Part 1

B's mom and aunt came for a visit so we all went to Noodles Wednesday night for an early birthday dinner. Our poor waiter. I think by the time we left there were a million cheerios on the floor. Other than dropping cheerios, they were really good! It was a great start to my birthday week! Thanks for dinner Ms. Kathy!I didn't get as many pictures of Ava because she was sitting across the table from me!

Cell Phone Pics

A few weeks ago we went to Fort Smith to watch Walker play basketball! His team made it to the Final Four! I have to say that it was the most stressful game! The other team's coach was screaming like a nut case, the game was close, I just couldn't take the suspense! Walker was the best player on both teams by far. I'm not just saying that because he is my cousin either! B's hoping the boys will inherit his athletic ability! ha I guess in pee wee league they have to let everyone play. That part was kind of annoying! There was a wide range of athletic ability between the players! I was holding my breath through half of the game. I don't know if I am cut out to be a sports mom.. I don't know if my nerves can take it! Walkers team won and I think he scored the majority of the points! Go Walker!

I also cleaned out the babies closet a few weeks ago. I've decided they are growing way too fast and I buy way too many clothes! I think I will have to have another baby clothes sell soon!
Ava is getting more girlie by the second. Jenny bought her a pair of Levi short shorts! How cute are they?
She's also started playing with her girl toys more like her little purse! Her favorite thing in the purse is the fake money! Get ready B! I see many shopping trips in our future!

Fun Weekend

We had a fun weekend around our house. Friday Jennifer kept the babies so I could celebrate my birthday with friends and go to NWAFW. Saturday we went to the baseball game and to Emory's birthday party! Happy Birthday Emory. I can't believe you are already two! Saturday night we were all tired so B brought home pizza and we went to bed early! Sunday we slept late, played in our pj's all day and then went to my dad and Jenny's house for one last birthday celebration! Thanks for having us over! The food was so good! It was a pretty fun relaxing weekend.

Nothing is ever as calm as it seems though. Saturday I was bathing the babies and I turned around to get a towel. Ava stood up and then dove over the side of the tub. When I turned around she was laying on the tile floor screaming. She has a little knot on her head. Poor baby. Saturday at the game Knox ran into the corner of a bar stool and now has a little bruise on his head, Saturday afternoon B dropped a pitcher full of RED koolaid and it exploded in my white kitchen.....I'm not sure why he has reverted back to childhood and started drinking Koolaid again anyway. We usually have one drink option at our house, water, and that's the way I like it! Sunday Ava had another fall in the tub and busted her lip open, it bled.... Oh and Knox and Ava both threw up in the living room but that is really nothing new! And I think I changed approximately two hundred diapers... Just a little glimpse into our lives! ha
