Busy Busy!

We have had a busy week! Sunday we went to Gigi's house for dinner! It was yummy as usual!

We took naps with Layla on the floor...

Carol and I had bunco with our friends at Painting with a twist and painted Old Main! It was so much fun! I can't wait to go back and paint my puppies!

We went shopping at the mall and Ava got a job offer from Forever 21 because they said they could tell she had "Great Style." She also got a new pair of sparkly leopard Converse!
We got a new fluffy rug for the babies to roll around on from Nini! Thanks Nini! Ava, Brooks, and Knox love it!
We had lunch at our Grandpa's house on Saturday and played and then had dinner with all of our little friends at US Pizza. A, sat in a high chair for the first time and ate crackers and puffs! Yahh Ava! We had a slumber party with Gigi Saturday night because daddy went hunting and mommy was scared to stay by herself!
Sunday we made a yummy cinnamon roll cake and Lasagna soup from Pinterest and watched lots of cheesy Lifetime Christmas movies and football! Another great weekend with my family!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

The trees are up and the stockings are hung by the chimney with care! Now we just need Santa to make an appearance!

I usually love decorating for Christmas but this year I just didn't have the energy! I knew we couldn't celebrate the babies first Christmas without a tree or two though so I drank a few diet cokes and decorated my house in record speed! I literally put both of my trees up in thirty minutes! I actually did it while I listened to the AR vs LSU game. The babies were napping, B was at work and I knew I had to get it done! I actually have three trees, a silver, a purple, and a black tree. B hates them all! haha He says he just wants a regular green tree! Maybe next year B!

Oh and someone discovered our Christmas tree and rolled about a mile until he made it to the tree! Little Stinker! He is into everything!

Lights

Friday night we decided to take the babies to see the lights on the square! We haven't been yet this year and I couldn't wait to go! I know they will love it when they are a little older and they can ride the ponies and the camel! I actually told B that Ava and I were going to ride the camel together (kidding) and he flipped out! He said that was way too dangerous! He said, "Look what happened to Christopher Reeves!" What?? That was a horse not a camel and it's not like I would be steering the camel myself or jumping fences! I told B he was a scrooge and we continued around the square! He amazes me sometimes! He wanted to buy our 7 month old boys guns for Christmas but he won't let me hold Ava on a camel??? Poor Ava! I can already tell how over protective he is going to be!

We actually stopped at US Pizza for dinner before we went to see the lights! Oh and Knox some how lost a boot in our car on the ride to Dickson. We couldn't find it anywhere and I didn't have a back up so he went without a shoe all night...
I think Brooks' twelve month jeans are getting a little short... Quit growing Brooks! They are so baggy in the waist too! I don't know what I'm going to do about his pant situation!
The princess decided she was not going to sit in her car seat while we ate. So she got a front row spot in her dads lap!
We finally made it to the square! I think he's a little excited!
Scrooge was not happy about stopping for pictures! He said we were blocking the side walk and that one picture is enough.. Yeah right!

Mr one shoe... B suggested I wrap my hot pink scarf around his bare foot! haha I thought I would save him the embarrassment. It wasn't that cold outside anyway!

Such a fun night! I think we might have to go back again soon and get a funnel cake! The babies crashed when we got home and B and I stayed up until after 1am watching Shawshank Redemption. A good movie but not a great idea! The babies were up six hours later!

Thanksgiving Part 2

When we got home Gigi was hard at work getting our house ready for Thanksgiving round 2! My potatoes and dressing were cooked so all I had to make was the corn casserole and the mac and cheese! Amanda gave me a recipe for the mac and cheese and it was so easy and good! I think it was voted the favorite side dish!

Thanksgiving morning was a little hectic. B had to open the store so he was gone and I had to get myself and all of the babies ready. Oh and get my house ready! I was feeding the babies and I heard something in the dining room. Thank goodness I got up to look. Coco had climbed on top of the table and was eating a pecan pie! I love Coco but sometimes I want to give her away!!!
The babies were worn out from their big day and Brooks got a little fussy so Nini had to rock him outside.

It got a little chilly so we had to move the rocking chair inside. Nick showed Brooks his Ipad and Brooks loved it!
