 Our toy corner is out of control! We have every toy under the sun but the boys still think climbing in their toy basket is more fun then playing with the toys!

Daddy's Little Helpers!

B has been trying with all of his might to keep our grass alive!  We spend a lot of time in the back yard watering!  One night last week daddy had a few helpers!  They had soo much fun! 

Especially this little guy!  Running full speed! 

He didn't stop laughing and smiling all night! He would run back and forth in front of the sprinkler! He took a few mommy breaks too! 

Ava and Brooks stayed pretty close to their favorite person in the world!  I think they knew he needed their help!

I've taken exactly two pictures with my camera since May!  The iphone just makes it too convenient to take pictures! I've got to pull out my camera more often because the picture quality just doesn't compare! 

Photo #1. The babies on their second fourth of July! 

This was my second picture of the summer.  Leigh's cute dessert she brought over! 

From now on I'm going to pull out my camera and take real pictures!  I never print pictures but I definitely never print out cell phone pictures!  Get ready for some really fancy photography! ha 

Poor Baby

The boys went for a bike ride with B the other night.  Poor Knox came back and looked like this!  I was freaking out of course!  He hurt himself before he even got in the bike trailer.  It just wasn't his night.  I think he ran down the driveway and was going too fast to stop (our driveway is steep) and face planted.  He scraped his whole face!  Later they made a pit stop at the McCarty's new house and Knox fell off a step as he was bending over to grab a ball and his face hit a big rock! My poor baby!  Daddy is fired as a babysitter I think!  Knox actually isn't acting like it bothers him but I still feel so bad for the baby every time I look at him!  Brandon just keeps telling people, "Oh but you should see the other guy." Not funny B! 

He's gotten a few extra kisses and snuggles to make it all better! 

Important Dates

Mid June- Knox says "Doh Doh" all of the time.  He's trying to say "No No."  Or maybe, "Don't" He is quick to point his little finger at you and tell you no.  It's probably the cutest thing I've ever heard by the way...


June 28th-Ava started saying "No" and "Thank you"


June 29th-Brooks started full time walking.  I was out of town of course!


July 20th-Brooks said "Gigi"


July 20th-Knox said "A G" which is what we call Ava


July 21st-Ava said her first sentence.  She said, "Hi, Daddy"


July 23rd-Ava, Brooks, and Knox can show you where their nose and ears are!


July 30th-Ava is now a full time walker!  We are so proud of her and she is so proud of herself!  She walks with her hands above her head!  Pretty cute!


July 31st-Ava said Brooks.  I missed it but Allison heard her! 




Other random things I want to remember-


-Brooks won't eat.  Refuses.  The other two are usually completely done with their meals before he even takes a bite.  He just sits and waits until I give him his milk  Loves milk!


-Brooks busts his lip open every other day.  I don't know if he is just clumsy or if his lips are just too big! ha


-Knox hits himself in the head constantly or bangs his head on things around the house.  I think it started when he started throwing temper tantrums.  He would bang is head on the ground or wall.  Now he just walks around the house and randomly slaps his head.  We use to laugh, now we ignore him.  I really hope he stops soon!

We had a busy week at our house! I don't think we were home one night! We went to a birthday dinner Tuesday night, Happy Birthday Lindsay! We went to a get together at the Bowens Wednesday night and Thursday afternoon Bennett came over to swim with his mommy!  Brooks woke up early from his nap and it was perfect because I got a little one on one time with him in the pool!  It's basically impossible to put all three babies in the pool at the same time because they want to be held but one baby was pretty easy!  Brooks even tried out his new floaties!

The next morning Ava found her sunglasses and wanted to wear them!  I think she was copying Bennett! 

Ava helped Gigi do a little cooking Friday morning!  She loved being in on the action! Thanks for cooking for us Gigi! 

Friday night we went to a party at Tressa and Ben's and I didn't take one picture!  Saturday night B and I were double booked so we stopped by Mickey's birthday fish fry and then went to the Children Safety Center event later that night!  I have to admit, as we were walking out of the door, B and I thought about going back in and getting in bed and renting a movie and eating pizza. Ha If I hadn't just washed my hair and put on makeup I really might have considered it!  We had a fun night with friends though and I'm glad we went! 

Sunday we went over to my dad and Jenny's for a fish fry.  We wreck their house every time we come over.  There is always food and toys everywhere!  Thanks for having us over.  The food was delish!  The babies loved it especially!

Jenny introduced Ava to ketchup!  I don't think she will eat another plain fry again! ha She loved dipping her fry!

Of course eventually they were all naked.  It's just too hard to keep clothes clean with these three!  Knox and his grandpa were sharing some fries!

We had a busy week and weekend but we are trying to live it up this summer and we don't have much time left!  I can't believe they will be starting school in a month! Crazy!
