First Soccer Match!

The boys had their first soccer match a few weeks ago!  Ava was so excited about it!  The boys were just sleepy! ha I had to wake them up early from their nap to get ready to leave and they were not happy about it!  I didn't sign Ava up since she is doing dance.  I figured she could just be their cheerleader on the sidelines.  She wanted to wear shin guards like the boys so I pulled out her old baby legs and she didn't know the difference!  B missed the first game because he was working out at his land but Gigi and Karrie and Sawyer came to cheer us on!

She still has no clue she's not on the team.  I'm not even sure the coaches knew she wasn't on the team. She might have even played better than the boys!

It's hard to hold the attention of twenty two year olds!  The kids did pretty well considering.  They did have their moments though! ha We have the cutest little team!  All of our buddies play with us!

After the game Ava wanted to go home with Gigi!  She walked right up to her car and blew me a kiss Bye!

Their first game was hot, funny, sweaty, cute, fun, and just a little chaotic!  We can't wait for next week!

First Day of School!

Our first day of school Tuesday, August 27th 2013

We had a relatively smooth morning.  No tears!  They all ran right in their new classroom and started to play!  I celebrated their first day back with a massage!  I even cooked dinner that night which hasn't happened in weeks maybe months!

Meet the Teacher Night

A few weeks ago we went to meet our new teachers at First School!

Daddy and A!  Towards the end of summer school Ava would walk to the classroom when she needed to potty because her old class didn't have a potty in it!  I could tell she was excited to finally be in the big kid room!

We had a good night and they couldn't wait to start school the next day!  This is a sad attempt at a group picture!

Our Weekend

I'm definitely not very outdoorsy but I have to say the view is pretty out at B's land.  

Saturday night we made a stop out there to visit daddy!  He was working on the tractor and the kids had so much fun going for rides!  

Brooks was in heaven of course!  When it was time for the boys to get off so Ava could have a turn they threw a fit!  

Poor B had to hold them all and drive the tractor!

Sunday I took the kids to church by myself while B worked at the land.

Boys Trip Day 2

Our first night was a little rough!  The boys didn't go to sleep until about 11pm and Brooks was back up at 1 screaming his little head off.  I think he just really missed his crib!  He woke Knox up so all four of us were up from about 1am-4am.  Fun night! ha Knox fell off the bed around 6am and woke us all up screaming! What a night!  We were all up bright and early!  Our first stop was at the stables for pony rides!

This kid has no fear!  He just headed off on the trails with this cowboy that he's never met! ha 

Knox lost his mind when it was time to take off the helmet.  He bawled and threw quite the temper tantrum! The nice cowboy had to give him a cowboy hat to make him stop crying! 

Brooks cried the entire time Knox was riding but when it was finally his turn he cried when he got on the horse.  I think he was just sleepy! I had to go on the trail ride with him and hold his hand!

After our pony rides we went to the beach! The boys had so much fun playing in the sand!

It isn't quite Florida but it will have to do! 

The boys went back to the room for naps or I guess rest time since they didn't nap the entire time we were there.  I went to the pool to relax for a few hours!

We went to an early dinner because we were going on a wagon ride! 

We went on a campfire wagon ride.  The wagon ride took is to a little spot near the lake and we roasted marshmallows, ate s'mores, sang camp songs, and played games!

Brooks was in heaven!  He loved roasting marshmallows!

Poor daddy!

This was one of our favorite activities at Big Cedar!  The kids loved everything about it!  The cowboys, the horses, and definitely the s'mores.

Sunday we slept late and then packed up to head home.  We stopped to have lunch in Harrison.  I love this little cutie!  

I had such a fun weekend with my boys!  We will definitely be doing it again soon!
