Important Dates

August 13th-Ava said "Cake" at Jack's birthday dinner.

August 16th-Ava said "Pink" to Lauren!

August 27th-Brooks started saying "Freckle" and he points to the freckle on his leg.

September 27th-Brooks has started saying light and pointing to the lights!

October 1st-Knox said "Sorry" He hit Ava in the face so I made him!  He wouldn't look at her when he said it.  He turned his head the other direction and muttered it! Such a mess!

October 4th-Knox started saying, "What's that?" and "Who's that?"  He hasn't stopped saying it since then!

October 6th-Ava said "Oh Sh**!"

October 19th-First real Time Out.  They pulled all of their pajamas out of their dresser so they all had to stand in the corner! 

October 22nd-Knox said his first sentence.  He said, "Oh no momma, I got it"  So proud of you Knox!  He is definitely the talker of the bunch! 

We have a dvd that teaches colors that they watch in the car a lot.  They have all started saying all of the colors.  Ava says almost every color is "Ellow" Brooks yells at the screen when they get to purple.  He gets mad and yells, "Bwue! Bwue!" It's pretty cute!  He also calls the video Bwue!  As soon as we get in the car he points to the screen and yells "Bwue"  I guess we know what his favorite color is! 

They are started to say so much now that's it's hard to keep track of it all!  Knox has started calling Brooks "Brother", Brooks told Ben Penix, "I toot" when he really did toot!  They all talk to Coco constantly!  We listen to them talk to each other in the mornings on the monitor and Knox always yells for Coco first and then Mommy!  They can pretty much repeat anything I say.  I need to do a better job of writing it all down! 

Happy Half Birthday A, B, and K!

The babies half birthday was also our five year wedding anniversary!  It was a pretty big day at our house.  B went hunting that morning so Gigi, Caroline, and I took the babies to Rick's for donuts to celebrate their big day!  We ran into Miller and his mommy and daddy! We were so glad he got to celebrate with us! 

Andrew surprised the babies with Hog cupcakes for their birthday! So sweet!

Oh Sh**!

This cute, dramatic, spunky princess said "Oh Shit"!  Brandon and I were sitting on the couch one night and she was walking by.  I think she might have dropped her little purse and she said it.  We both kind of looked at each other like, "Did she just say that?"  She did..  She has said it several times since then.  We haven't helped the situation.   We laugh every time!  There is just something so funny about hearing our little miniature baby squeak out, "Oh Shit!" Her timing is also usually perfect!  Of course if she starts saying this in public or at school I will be mortified!  She did say it while Ben was holding her.  She sneezed and then said it!  Ben was like, "I think Ava just said oh shit!" Brandon and I have already discussed starting a swear jar (for us not Ava!)!  We've got to do something or we are going to be in trouble!  They can't get kicked out of mothers day out!  I need that break! ha  

Ladies Man

Is it normal to have a girlfriend when your 18 months old?  Every time I drop Knox off at school a little girl is waiting on him and they kiss...on the lips!  Sometimes she kisses Brooks too but usually it's just Knox.  I was walking away the other day and I heard the little girl say, "Who's that?" and the teacher said, "That's your boyfriend Knox!"  He is such a little lover boy!  

Apparently he has a wandering eye though because he's tried to kiss a few other girls too!  Madeline was at our house for dinner the other night and he went in for a big smooch.  Brandon said Madeline told him "No!" and then when he kept trying to kiss her she said, "No" again a little more forcefully!  Her daddy should be proud!  Brandon said Knox needs to learn no means no!  He also tried to kiss Estelle at a birthday party a few weeks ago.  He followed her around with his little lips puckered up!  I guess he likes older woman! I'm starting to get a little jealous!  I don't even get kisses that often! 

Dig Sooie!

Let me introduce you to the biggest Hog fan in the state! 

This little guy loves to call the hogs and does it all of the time.  He's not that great at the "Whoo" part but when it's time to raise your arm and say "Pig Sooie" he is all over it!  He gets so excited and yells, "Dig Sooie"!  Then after the "Razorback" line he claps really hard!  It is probably the cutest thing I have ever seen!  Brandon and I have started calling him Dig Sooie and anytime I call the hogs I say, "Dig Sooie"!  It's catching on!  Love this little guy and his enthusiasm!

This girl was seriously stressed out!  She was trying to get her baby doll in her stroller and it just wasn't working out for her!  Now you know how I feel Miss A!

He strips down all of the time!  I will go in his room after naps and all of his clothes will be off!  Sometimes his diaper too which is always fun! ha On this particular day he only managed to get a sock, his pants, and half his shirt off!
