Lunch at Grandpa Bob's house!

Several weeks ago we went to my dad and Jenny's house for lunch!  My dad loves to cook so the babies always get to try new things when we go to his house!  I think this day he had cooked pork chops, mashed potatoes and corn!  Yum!

Ava loved it!  Can't you tell??

Knoxie's little cheeks stayed full!

Brooksy's too!

I wanted to take a group picture since the babies looked so cute in the outfits Jenny made them!
It didn't work out real well!

Checking out the big black spider!

Jenny got the babies surprises from the craft fair!  They loved their light up pumpkins!

Knoxie does a lot of "ooohing" these days!

Mr Serious!

Shaking his new tambourine!

Love her and her bright blue eyes!

Pumpkin Carving

The Halls had us over to eat dinner and carve pumpkins!  It was such a fun night!  I was so excited because I had not bought one pumpkin!  Brandon was in charge of buying our pumpkins to take over and he bought three huge ones!  Carving pumpkins is a lot more work than I remembered!  Only one got carved and I think we left them all at the Halls house! Sorry Jessica and Mark!

Dinner Time!

I think the table was a little too crowded for Bennett! ha

Knox was fascinated by the pumpkin carving process!

Ava was more into accessorizing her outfit with a new hat!

Silly girl!

Kids and knives everywhere!  And how brave is Jessica to let us do this in her house?!!

Ava wanted to help Sarah with Bennett's pumpkin!

Miller and his mommy!

Miller was a huge helper!

Just dumping out the guts!

Love this little pumpkin!

The view from above!

Brandon had lots of helpers!

I love this picture!  My three working as a little team!

A needed to take a break from the hard work!

Such boys!  Fascinated by the guts!

Such a big helper!

B was really concentrating! ha

Ta-Da!  Our pumpkin!

All of our pumpkins lit up!

Time to play!

I think he's grown two inches since I took this picture.  I just want them to stop growing now!

Wild Woman!

Allison is so sweet and brought all of the kids surprises!  They had so much fun playing with their glow swords and sticks!

Miller!

It was such a fun night with all of our friends! Thanks for having us Halls!

Lately.

Caroline informed me my blog is boring because no one cares what we did two months ago.
So Caroline, this ones for you!

Today we had a very productive day.  That doesn't always happen so when it does I think it's worth documenting!  We started our morning at the library for story time with Gigi.  This is the first time I haven't taken the wagon in.  They all held our hands and walked in like big kids!  They also went to the older kids class at 10:30!  It's a little less chaotic!  The kids had fun singing and dancing.  Afterwards we ran a few quick errands and then went to Chick fil A for lunch.  The kids played and Brooks went down the slide for the first time by himself!  I'm so proud of him and he is so proud of himself!  A little boy helped him up and gave him a little pep talk to get him down the slide! ha There were a few times that I thought I might have to climb up and rescue him but he finally did it!  He always came down with the biggest smile on his face and clapped for himself!  I think he went down three times total!  It might be awhile before Knox and Ava make it down the big slide!  After lunch we all went to Pigtails and Crewcuts so Knox could get his first haircut!  He did such a good job!  He was so excited about sitting in the police car! He looks like such a big boy now! I thought Brooks and Ava might be jealous that they didn't get a haircut but they were too busy playing in the game room to notice what Knox was doing.  I ran a few more errands and then it was home for naps.  While the kids napped Gigi helped me make dinner and I made two new Christmas outfits for the boys!  Sewing is definitely getting easier and faster.  My outfits don't neccesarily look better but it only took me two hours to make both outfits as opposed to three or four like it use too!  They also appear to be the same size this time!  I haven't tried them on yet so I'll keep my fingers crossed until then!  After naps we were suppose to meet all of our friends at the park but it's almost dark outside and they are all still asleep!  I guess our busy day wore them out!

Rereading this just made me sad! They are growing up way to fast!  Walking into the library like big kids, sliding down the big kid slide, haircuts!!!  Time to stop growing kiddos!

Halloween Carnival

We met all of our friends at the Halloween Carnival.  Tinkerbell, Peter Pan, and Hook had a great time!  They were out of control and all over the place but I really didn't expect anything else!

Tinkerbell was so proud of her new bracelet!  She loved it!

This might be my all time favorite picture of Brooks.  I could just kiss his little cheeks off!  He is such a sweetie!

The Bowens! Minus Travis

The cutest little gorilla I have ever seen!

Hook was a wild man.  He refused to wear the pants that came with his costume and he wouldn't wear anything but those dang red boots.

Chi O's were working all of the booths and we ran into Day!

Just sitting in the dirt/horse poo taking his shoes off and on... At one point I thought Knox's nose was bleeding but it was just dirt coming out of his nostrils.  He apparently face planted a few times!

Family pic!  B's mom was in town visiting so she got to go with us!

By the end of the night Ava was a pro at trick or treating at the different booths!  I think she knew which booths gave out the good candy!

My boys!

She kept her little arm like this so she wouldn't lose her bracelet!

Love his little curls.  He might have a mullet forever!

After we left we met all of our friends at US Pizza for dinner! I wish I had a picture of our table!  There were kids everywhere!  It was suprisingly calm.  Maybe not calm, but not as chaotic as you would think twenty kids would be!  Such a fun night for a good cause!
