Drink Up!

I meant to post this before New Years Eve so everyone would buy their bubbly from Wedington Liquor but I never got around to it! So, now I'm posting it so you will buy your beer for the Super Bowl from Wedington! Make sure and tell B hello if you stop by! Even if you aren't a drinker you should stop by for a bag of baked flaming hot Cheetos! They are the best thing ever and I'm not even joking! I discovered them when I lived in LA a long time ago and every time I visit LA I stock up! I've never seen them anywhere else but LA! I even asked Harps to order them for me and they couldn't! I walked in the store a few weeks ago and the snack shelf was stocked with baked fire Cheetos! How in the world did B forget to mention this to me??? Matt, our manager knows about my love for these things so I have a feeling he was the one that ordered them but I still can't believe we had them and I didn't know about it! They are really that good! So, in conclusion, stop by Wedington for beer, wine, liquor, or baked fire Cheetos!

Lately...

-After Millers party Karrie, B and I went to lunch at Grubs with the babies. They were hungry and tired so it was pretty brave of us to try this. Karrie's baby (Brooks) was the best. He just sat in his seat and behaved himself. Ava and Knox were wild! I always said I didn't want the babies to eat lots of Happy Meals, etc but I was stuffing fries in their mouths as fast as I could to keep them quiet! ha I think they all slept for 3 hours when we got home!

-Saturday night Gigi watched the babies so B and I could have date night. We had plans to go to dinner and see a movie then I was going to meet friends for drinks. We made it to dinner and that's it. I was so tired we were home by 8:30 and in pj's. We did rent Moneyball! I, of course, fell asleep before it was over! The part I saw was good though!

-When we were trying to pick a restaurant Saturday night B said, "Let's go somewhere quiet that isn't crowded" I thought this was odd and then I realized we were passing an empty KFC and that's what he had in mind! No thank you!

-I found Knox sitting in front of a pair of B's boots saying "Dada" too funny!

-Ava loves to rub her tongue over her new teeth. She does this one million times a day! Her little tongue is always hanging out of her mouth and her lips are always chapped.

-I have issues. I am so clumsy! Saturday morning the babies were all playing in the living room. I was on the phone and I walked in the living room for something. I stepped on the corner of one of their riding toys, lost my balance, my phone went flying, I screamed, and then pretty much landed on top of Knox. He started screaming, I was sure he had broken something! He ended up being fine but it scared me to death and I'm a little sore! Thank goodness he has a helmet! Oh and B heard all of this and didn't even come down stairs! I think he has gotten use to ignoring my clumsiness! A few years ago we were leaving a Razorback basketball game and I tripped and pretty much rolled down a hill. B kept walking and acted like he didn't know me!

-I caught Ava army crawling across the living room to get her pretend cell phone! She's starting early! My cell phone is all of the babies favorite toy! I am missing so many apps because they find a way to delete them all!

-Sunday Ava and I went to church! I decided I'm going to try to take them one at a time! B went on a long bike ride/run so Gigi came over and watched the boys. Ava was on her best behavior. She loved looking around and smiling at all of the people! She fell asleep halfway through the service. After church, she went to brunch with the girls and tried her first bite of a waffle! She is such a big girl now!

-Sunday night kicked off awards season! My favorite! I had to fight B for the tv since football was on but I eventually won! Ava had a slumber party at Gigi's but the boys and I watched the Golden Globes together!

-None of the babies have ever slept in our bed. Until Sunday night. Brooks woke up at 4am so upset. I could not get him to calm down so got to get in our bed. I was so tired! He crawled all over our bed and eventually fell asleep at the foot of our bed so that is where he slept until eight the next morning!

Happy First Birthday Miller!

Saturday we had a big birthday to celebrate! The babies bff Miller turned one! I cannot believe he is already one! Makes me sad! That means the babies are only three months away from their big day too! Millers birthday party was so cute and so much fun! The invitation was the cutest thing I have ever seen! It was a "Little Man" party! Sarah and Bennett came over early Saturday morning and brought the babies breakfast and bow ties! How cute are they? Sarah made these! Thank goodness for crafty friends!

The boys. You might notice a trend here. Everyone else is holding our babies! We have some really great friends that like to help! B and I like to let them! ha When we were walking in the party B was dropping the gift, almost dropping a baby and not happy about it! I had to remind him that we knew it wasn't going to be easy going anywhere with three babies! He just needed to get use to it!
I wish I had taken more pictures of the party! Everything was so cute! The decorations, the cake, the party favors! Allison went above and beyond! How cute is Ava's favor??
My babies love to go to a party! I'm not sure if it's because they never get out of the house or if they are just little party animals but they are always so happy! They were even skipping a nap but still in a good mood! I think Ava likes getting dressed up too!
"Hey everyone, look at me!" Ava does not like when all eyes aren't on her! When Bennett was at our house that morning B, Sarah, and I were all watching him walk and A was not happy about it! She did a little fake cry to let us know about it!

I am so thankful for my crafty friends that bring us breakfast and bow ties, the friends that love my babies and help me with them, my friends that throw fun parties, and even the friends that give my babies tattoos (as long as they are temporary). I don't know what I would do without them!

Work Days

After our terrible NYE I thought it was a good time to call for back up. My house was a wreck! I still had Christmas decorations up, Christmas gifts were everywhere, and the babies were still sleeping in our room! I called Jenny and B's parents for help! We got SO much done! I had a to-do list that was a mile long! Nothing makes me happier than crossing things off a list and I got to do that several times! B even stayed home from work a few days to help! I can finally park my car in our garage again! One of the most exciting things I did was move the babies cribs into their rooms. They finally have their own rooms now! I still have a few things left to do to finish their rooms but it is definitely a start! The boys have been sleeping in their room every single night! Ava is still in her basket in our room but I think she is almost ready to make the big move to her own room!

I wish I could remember everything we did! We finally stored all of our pool furniture and pots (only 5 months late), cleaned out closets, painted furniture, moved all of the cribs, took off doors, hung pictures, and mirrors, cleaned, and the list goes on and on!

Poppy, Ava, and Knox took a little break to nap! Oh and the recliner made a come back. B snuck it back in when I was at Lowes picking up supplies. Its about to go back to the playroom but I just haven't had the energy to move it back!
We also set up the babies new high chairs that B's parents got them for Christmas. They look so big sitting in their new chairs!

This week...

This week we welcomed a new member to our family! Dexter the doggy!

Little Dexter. He is Caroline's dog, not ours (I'm not that crazy!) So he just comes to visit occasionally.
We went to the park for the first time last weekend!

Brooks and Ava cheered B on while he did pull ups!
Ava went down the slide for the first time ever with her daddy's help!

Knoxie slept the entire time we were at the park! He missed out on all of the fun!
Ava practiced her wrestling moves with her brother and I practiced using a new app I have on my phone!
Knox drank out of a sippy cup all by himself and we all cheered! We also had dinner at my dad's!
We celebrated Hunter's first birthday at Boingo Bounce! The babies didn't do much bouncing but we had a lot of fun! Happy birthday Hunter!

This week I also made a gigantic mess cleaning out the babies closets...

Brooks and Knox took their first big boy bath together! It was lots of fun!

I really am not sure if these boys are related! They look nothing alike!
Knoxie and I also made a quick trip to Little Rock for another helmet appointment. We left our house at 11 and were back in Fayetteville by 5 so that tells you how fast our appointment was. I think it was a complete waste of our time and gas but whatever! Basically they told me he hadn't been wearing his helmet (which I obviously already knew!) so we are going to wear it all of the time for the next month or two and then I am making the executive decision we will be done with the helmet! I miss seeing his little head and I just can't take the smell anymore! The one thing I like about those appointments is I have 6 hours of phone time to catch up with friends!
