Happy Labor Day/4th of July

My dad's Fourth of July party got cancelled because of the burn ban so he rescheduled it for Labor Day.  It was such a fun party!  Thanks for having us dad!  I still can't believe I didn't bring my good camera.  It makes me sick!  I did try to snap as many cell phone pics as I could but they just aren't the best quality!

Last Year vs. This Year
I can't believe how much she has grown!  I think Ava has definitely changed the most out of all of the babies!

The whole crew 2012!

July 2011!

I loved Ava's dress and Ava loved her dress!  One of my favorite Target finds!

I asked Caroline to take a few pictures for me and she said no because then she wouldn't be in any of them.  So I handed her a baby and snapped a pic. Ha Knox was in a great mood that night!

Crying even with a chocolate chip cookie in his mouth.  He was that mad!

As cute as her dress was, it was just too hot so B stripped her down!

Dad and Ava!

Sidewalk chalk time!

Sydney helping out!

Ava even got to wear her sparkly red shoes!

My patriotic girl!

Brooks' first sparkler!

This picture is so fuzzy but I had to post it so I could document how the babies felt about their first fireworks show.  They flipped out!  Ava was fine, but the the boys were hysterical!  Nothing would calm them down!  They didn't want to be outside but they didn't want to be inside either!  Hopefully next year will be better!

It was quite the show!  I think people all over town could see it!

LOVE this picture!  Ava's first sparkler!

And finally Knox got brave enough to try a sparkler!
Next year I am going to be prepared!  I'm going to have my good camera, cool clothes, and ear plugs for the babies just in case!

Happy Grandparents Day

Sunday morning my dad and I took the babies to church!  It was their first time to go to the nursery.  It wasn't exactly a smooth drop off.  They were all three bawling when I left!  I'm sure the workers in the nursery loved to see me coming!  Since they started school they have developed major separation anxiety!  They still go to strangers and aren't exactly shy but as soon as they think I'm going to leave they flip out!  They are always fine five seconds after I'm gone but it's pretty rough at first!  Thank goodness Lindsay dropped Caroline off right after I left and assured me that they were all fine.  She said Brooks and Ava were being held and Knox was busy vacuuming.  Of course Knox was vacuuming!  The room must have been a little too messy for him to handle! ha I can't believe I didn't snap any pictures of them in their cute church clothes!  I was so busy throwing things in the car and trying to get everyone ready I just didn't have the time!  After church we went to lunch and sat on the patio at ESG.  It was a great day to sit outside!  The babies once again ate a ton!  I think they ate all of their food and half of my dads!  Maybe they have a tape worm???  They keep eating but not gaining weight! ha Thanks for helping me with the babies dad!

After they woke up we went to Gigi's house for dinner!  Oh and to celebrate Christmas in September!  Kidding!  Gigi thought they needed some new toys at her house so she did a little shopping!  They are never going to want to leave!  They loved all of their new toys!

Brooks can't quite reach the peddles yet but he still loved his new trike!  I pushed him all around Gigi's house!

They love Gigi's cooking too!  I think she made them salmon, roasted veggies and cute macaroni spinach muffins off of pinterest! They were really good!

We learned to call the hogs this weekend!  Brooks is the best!  Ava has the "Woo" sound down and Knox still needs a little practice!

Ava attached to Gigi's thigh.  This is where she spends most of her time unless she is in Gigi's arms.  We are working on this! ha
B finally made it back home!  We missed him a lot but I have to say my house was a lot cleaner when he was gone!
Oh and Happy Grandparents day everyone!  I didn't even realize it was on Sunday!  I'm glad we got to visit at least two of the four grandparents! Next year I'll have cards ready! ha

Go Hogs Go!

Saturday, after the babies woke up from their long naps, we got dressed in our best Razorback gear and went to the Gearharts to watch the game!  For some reason I buy a ton of red clothes for the kids and then they never get to wear them because they never go to any games! I decided since they were all dressed up I would do a little photo shoot!

My favorite!

Brooks was feeling a little squirmy so he was hard to catch!

He's back!

My little poser!

I have a feeling this would have been a cute one!  Too bad I cute his head off!  I really need to work on my photography skills!

Brooks was just feeling spunky!

Such a big boy!

Brooks decided to take a little nap, Knox was busy on the phone, but I can always count on Ava to look at the camera!

Cell phone pics!

Ava took off one of her shoes to use as her phone!  I thought this was pretty silly and then Emily pointed out that my phone looks like her shoe (I have a leopard cell phone case)!  Smart girl Ava!

I remember when I bought these shoes!  I thought they were so huge she would never grow into them!  I just had to have them though!  I can't believe she can finally wear them!  She was pretty proud of them!

Knox wanted a closer look to see what they were all about!

She looks like a little mannequin!

My little baby!
We had so much fun at Lindsay and Brock's.  The girls sat outside with the kids while the guys watched the game!  My kids ate ten pieces of pizza.  I think they must be going through a growth spurt.  That is the only thing I can think of!  They have been eating a ton!  I'm sure they did work up an appetite running all over the backyard!  Caroline has a little water table filled with dried beans and the kids loved it!  I have been finding beans all over my house! Oh and Brooks and Caroline made out! I guess Brooksy has his first girlfriend!  She's a cutie too! Thanks for having us over guys!

Fun Weekend!

B went out of town last weekend so the babies and I were on our own!  We missed him but we managed to stay pretty busy! I can't even remember what we did during the day Friday but I know that night we went over to my dad and Jenny's house for dinner!  Jenny made yummy Mexican food and the babies ate a ton!  It was crazy!  I think Knox ate about three enchiladas by himself!  Thanks for having us over guys!  I wish I had taken more pictures while we were there! I did snap one before we left because the boys looked so old to me in their little t-shirts and Nikes!

We were up bright and early on Saturday so Gigi and I took the babies to breakfast!  I have been dying to try the new Arsagas on Dickson!  I'm so glad we went because it is so cute!  The only complaint I have is that they only had two high chairs!  It's not really that kid friendly! I'm sure the other costumers  were not happy to see us coming anyway!  They probably wanted to enjoy their coffee and crepes in peace! ha  The babies got a crepe with apples and chicken and really seemed to like it!  I want to go back soon for the lavender infused champagne! Yum!

Gigi and Ava!

Sweet Brooks!

After breakfast we met Caroline at the farmers market to do a little shopping!

Brooksy loves his Aunt Caroline and always has!

We made a quick stop in Savoir Faire to do a little shopping and Ava loved the attention she was getting from the girls there!  We were hoping to catch Brittany!

Peek a boo! I see you Ava!

My one purchase at the farmers market!  I love them though! They've lasted an entire week too!

Gigi is brave to let Ava play with her nice sunglasses!  Ava loves them though!

She is sixteen months going on sixteen years!
After naps we were supposed meet Gigi and Caroline in Rogers to look at wedding dresses but the babies slept until after 4pm!  I guess their busy morning wore them out! We hurried and got dressed in our hog gear so we could go cheer them on with our friends!

First Game

I wasn't really on top of the picture taking for the first game!  I am really going to have to do better next time!  I think last year I dressed the babies up for every single game and took pictures of them even though they never attended a game!  This year Jennifer text me an hour before we left to tailgate and told me she could keep them so they spent the day in pj's! I didn't even bother getting them dressed!  Thank goodness for Jennifer!  I was going to attempt to take all three babies to tailgate and to the game by myself!  It would have been a disaster! Even though I don't have any pictures to prove it, it was a fun game/tailgate and we won! Which is always fun!

The blue tent is back this year!  It's a little bit fancier though! Karrie and I (with guidance from Theresa) made a chandelier for our tent!  It lights up and everything! We are pretty proud of it!  Thanks for helping us Theresa!

A few of the girls in our tent! And Miller! What a cutie!
