Happy Birthday Bennett and Oliver!

Happy Birthday Bennett and Oliver!  We had so much fun celebrating their big day at Boingo Bounce! I think the kids are finally old enough to really like it!  Mainly the boys.  Ava still isn't sure about all of the bouncing!

B was finally able to come to a party with us!  Thank goodness because they needed a little help going down the biggest slides!  My blurry boys went down fast!

They had so many things to bounce on and they chose to play with this little toy on the wall... ha!

Ava's turn!

So much fun!

So, Sarah and Jessica arranged for a special guest to come to the party!  Elmo!  My kids have never watched Sesame Street in their lives but you would have thought it was their favorite show.  As soon as Elmo came in Knox jumped down from the table and ran as fast as he could to Elmo.  He never left his side the entire time he was at the party. Knox danced with him, laughed, gave him high fives.  He LOVED Elmo.  It was the craziest thing I have ever seen.  I guess it was love at first sight.

Such a happy boy!

Love this picture!

Cupcakes are the best part of birthdays!

Ava finally bounced!

Basketball game fun!

B and I took the kids to a basketball game one Saturday! They had so much fun and we were able to stay for the entire game!  I think popcorn was the key! ha

Ava and I snapped silly pictures while the boys watched the game!
Love this girl!

Love my family!
Jennifer made these cute shirts for the babies!

Pictures can be deceiving...This appears to be a sweet hug between brother and sister.  It is actually a fight over the last bag of popcorn.

I think we went through three bags of popcorn!  They love it!

Glued to the Razorbacks!  This little guy saying "Razorbacks" is probably the cutest thing I have ever heard! Any time he sees basketball on tv, it doesn't matter who is playing, he immediately starts calling the Hogs! ha

Smooch!  Knox likes to give himself kisses on my phone!

Popcorn cheeks!

We had a race to the car!  Knoxie and I obviously won!

Florida Weekend

I didn't think we were ever going to make it to Florida for Claire's wedding! It snowed, our flight got canceled, my spray tan got canceled ha but we finally made it!  I needed a vaca in a bad way!  Since our NYC trip got canceled B and I hadn't been on a trip in almost a year!  I couldn't wait to lay on the beach and sleep in!  It's funny how you can't wait to get away but as soon as you get to where you are going you miss your kids and can't wait to get home to see them!  I can't wait to go to FL this summer because we will all be in the same place together!  It probably won't be the most relaxing trip but I know it will be so much fun!

As soon as we made it to our resort I ordered a frozen fruity drink!  The weather was perfect for a frozen drink!  Warm but not too hot!

The second thing I did was make Brandon take a picture! ha He hates photo time!  B, we don't get away much, I don't wear makeup that often...  We need to document it!

Friday night we had cocktail hour on the beach and then the rehearsal dinner!  It was so good to see Ann and to hang out with Bethany without kids in towe!

This picture doesn't do the sunset justice.  It was so pretty!

The next day we woke up bright and early and went to the beach.  B gets antsy and has a hard time laying out so he and Adam rented a little sailboat.  They looked so funny out on their little boat together!  B loved it and has decided that will be his next purchase.  He says we have to have a sailboat for the boys..  That's his new thing lately.  If he wants something he says, "It's for the boys."  The man seriously has too many hobbies! I'm putting my foot down on the sailboat!

I decided I didn't need sunscreen (which was a huge mistake) so by the time the wedding rolled around I was a lobster!  Thank goodness the pain didn't set in until the day after the wedding!

The beautiful bride!  Claire looked so pretty!

Congratulations Claire and Joe!

I wish I had taken more pictures!  I think I was too busy having fun!  The wedding was beautiful and the reception was so much fun!  The band was great too!  The dance floor was full all night!

The next day we went to the morning after brunch and told everyone goodbye and then Brandon and I layed on the beach all day.  I was under the umbrella but it was still relaxing and so nice to just sit there and read!

Kind of hard to tell in this picture but my legs were on fire!

We went to dinner that night and then back to the hotel to watch the Oscars.
The next day was a stressful one!  We had the absolute craziest cab driver I have ever had in my life.  He picked us up forty five minutes late in the biggest piece of junk car I have ever seen.. His car reeked like smoke (not cigarrette either).  The back seat was covered in ashes.  He told us his life story.  He called himself "Cowboy".  Cowboy is currently representing himself in a court case and we got to hear all about it.  Basically Cowboy's grandmother, who he lives with, quit making house payments and her house is in foreclosure and he is trying to get out of paying it by sueing his mother... He was so proud of the fact that he is representing himself because "He didn't even graduate from high school."  Hmm, you don't say?  He drove about 90mph to the airport to make up for being late.  He also called a girl scout on speaker phone to place his cookie order.   This girl scouts voice was blaring through the car speakers.  Apparently he is girl scout cookie connoisseur.  (Not surprised since he was pushing 350lbs)  He asked me if I knew when the girl scouts started selling cookies.  I of course said no.  He tells me the date.  It was something like April 15, 1775.  He then said, "I know that because that's my birthday."  I was born on that day but not the year."  Umm really?!  You aren't 200 years old?  I've never been so ready to get out of a car in my life!  Oh and he is a moonshiner.  We heard all about that too...
As soon as we get out of the cab we get a phone call from the airline that our flight was canceled from Dallas to XNA.  Great!  So we got to Dallas,  rented a car, and drove back to Fayetteville in the rain.  I've never been so glad to get home!  We got home about 10pm, woke up the babies for a quick snuggle and then went to bed!  It was such a fun trip but not a fun trip home!

We did meet two of the nicest people on our plane rides.  A lady on the way to Naples and a man on the way home.  We literally talked to them the entire three hours.  Brandon and the old lady were hugging by the time we got off the plane!  Pretty funny.

Gigi was nice enough to keep the babies while we were gone!  She said Knox kept asking where I was and she told him, "Mommy's in Naples." He said, "I want to go!"  Oh I love that boy!  He is such a sweetie and such a mommy's boy!

Ava's First Basketball Game!

Shea and Noah invited us to a basketball game.  Since Ava had never been I thought it would be fun to take her!  Our two extra carseats came in handy!

She loved when they turned off the lights and announced the players!  So excited!

So excited!

I don't think poor Noah and Miller knew what to do with Ava!  They aren't use to a dramatic little girl!  She threw a fit to sit in a seat by herself which meant Miller had to get up.  I think he was so surprised by her screaming and temper trantrum he just did what she wanted him to! ha She also demanded her own bag of popcorn.  No sharing for Ava.

Little Miss Priss getting her way.

I think I was getting a little eye roll in this picture!

Poor Miller is like, "Wait, what just happened here?  I lost my seat and my popcorn!"

Noah and Ava fought the entire game over his snack cup.  Ava was in a mood to say the least....  It's funny how fast they can get over their little spats because by the end of the game they were lovingly feeding each other popcorn!  Hilarious! Poor boys!

Lucky little girl to be sitting between these cuties! Although, they were probably scared to death of her! ha

Thanks again for inviting us Shea and Noah!  We had fun!  Dad and Jenny, thanks for letting us use your pass too!

Happy Birthday Miller

We had so much fun celebrating Miller's second birthday at the Little Gym.  We had never been before and it was so much fun! Gigi and Caroline came with us to help because B had to work!

The boys LOVED it!  They ran around hanging from everything!

All my pictures are a little blurry because they were always on the move!

Just hanging around with the birthday boy!

Knox wasn't so sure about the inflatable trampoline!  I wasn't either so I let Caroline test it out for me!

Just giving her buddy a little pat on the head!

Not sure what is going on here but I think it's pretty funny!

My happy boy!  He was a jumping machine!

Ava was a little distracted by Gigi but when she got down to play she did have fun!

Snack time!  Of course with Allison planning the party, everything was so cute!

Happy Birthday Miller!  I can't believe you are already two!

Random Rambling cont.

I've had to take a little leave of absence from the blog.  We've been so busy!  It's getting harder and harder for me to find time to sit down and upload pictures and type!  The days of blogging while the babies played by themselves are long gone.  Now I'm constantly cleaning up messes and refereeing fights!  At night I'm usually so exhausted the most I can do is lay on the couch and watch tv.  Our world is currently very crazy but very fun!

Here's a little glimpse into the  craziness!

Most mornings B gets up and gets the kids out of bed.  They immediately run into our bedroom screaming.  Knox always runs over to my nightstand and hands me my glasses and my phone.  He knows I can't get out of bed without those two things! ha I then drag my sleepy butt out of bed and we all go downstairs to start our morning routine!  In the five or ten minutes they are in our room in the morning they completely wreck it!  They go wild!  They throw things in the bath tub, turn on the water, pull everything out of my drawers, spill Coco's water, it's just a mess! Once we are downstairs we change diapers and then put them in the highchairs for breakfast.  B is on a huge smoothie kick so he makes a smoothie for the babies and himself. The babies get fruit smoothies and B makes himself one with chocolate protein powder.  Ava loves his smoothies!  B always saves the last drops of his smoothie for her!  She loves it!

The cup is bigger than her head!

It hasn't really snowed all year.  It decides to snow the day before I'm leaving on a trip.  We were at Boingo Bounce when I got the call that my flight was canceled.  I almost shed some tears in the bouncy house!   The kids were so excited to see the snow though!  PS-Apparently I'm on a stripes kick!

Boingo Bounce is a freaking workout!  Knox is the only one that can climb up all of the slides by himself!  So that means I have to take the other two down the slides!  Climbing up those little ladders while holding a kid is not that easy!

Ava has serious bed head issues!  She has the thinnest finest hair!  This is what it looks like every day when she wakes up!  I've tried taming it with hairspray and that doesn't even help!

I had a friend request on instagram and I couldn't figure out who it was!  When I saw this picture I knew it had to be a cousin!  Nini has a pretty impressive collection of magazines!  I can't believe she finally got rid of them!  It's actually pretty sad!  I remember looking at these when I was a little kid!  I also always remember giving Nini a subscription to Harpers Bazaar every year for her birthday!  No wonder she is the best dressed grandma in the world!  She gives the best gifts too!
