Fun in the Sun!

The babies and I have had a very relaxing weekend! The highlight of my weekend was probably laying out on Saturday! Don't worry, I did not wear a bathing suit! I was fully clothed in a tank top and shorts! You should have seen the looks I got when I walked into the pool area! I'm sure everyone was terrified I was going to strip down! I only lasted about an hour and a half but I'm glad I went in when I did! I got a little burned!! Nothing that a little self-tanner can't fix though! I'm glad I didn't go into labor because I'm sure the Dr's and nurses would have thought I was crazy if I walked into the ER with a sunburn and covered in shimmery self-tanner!
B always laughs at me because I make Caroline or my mom straighten my hair for me and I always try to put on a little makeup! He says I have the perfect excuse to look like crap and usually no one see's me anyway! This is true but I would rather be fat and tan with straight hair than fat and pale with frizzy hair! Didn't Kirstie Alley say "if you can't lose it decorate it" ? This bump isn't going anywhere so I'm decorating it the best I can! I paint my nails about every other day too!! I'm sure once the babies are here I will be too exhausted to get ready every day so I might as well do it now! It's not like I have anything better to do!
Saturday night B and I had a little date night. We went to a Mexican restaurant for dinner. Apparently it was the place to be on Saturday night if you are over 60. They had a band and the old folks did not stop dancing! It was hilarious! It kind of reminded me of Bobby Sox in Fayetteville! Which btw, if you have never been there please go asap! It's very entertaining to watch the Cougars in action! B tried to get me on the dance floor to shake the babies up and put me in labor. The lead singer of the band stopped by our table to make sure the music wasn't too loud for us! Haha I know the old folks have a hard time hearing but I'm still in my 20's! I think I can handle a little Brown Eyed Girl turned up! We went to get yogurt after that and my favorite flavor was gone!!! It had been replaced with Watermelon sorbet! I was devastated! Ha
Today has been a very lazy day (for me at least). I've actually been watching the Masters. B and Caroline went to the pool and B went on his daily bike ride. I think tonight we might go pillow shopping at Bed Bath and Beyond and then to Best Buy...Really exciting huh? I am also looking forward to watching Mildred Pierce! If you haven't been watching it you should start! I'm sure HBO will play reruns for a while! I've been very spoiled by Caroline's Uverse! She gets every channel you can think of! I'm going to have to at least add HBO to our Cox plan when I get home! I want to start watching the Kennedy miniseries too!
I've decided I'm going to call Dr. W's nurse tomorrow and beg her to squeeze me in! I'm so ready to go home! I know I only have 3 days left but I seriously can't wait to be back at my house and in Fayetteville! I'm hoping they will just let me go home even if I can't get in to see him. Maybe I can even fake cry while I'm begging...
